...future of Kim Jong Il Looking at Things unknown.

I'm not exactly a political analyst, nor do I know anything about North Korea's political situation beyond "it's awful", so I can't even hazard a guess whether things will improve. Just have to wait to see if things get worse.

Knowing the nature of life, they probably will. :\

I served in South Korea but I know that they are right now on alert because apparently Kim Jong Il's son is supposedly worse than his father. Thus we are all waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Don't worry, Kimmy, you won't be so ronery in hell...

I actually read that the situation is a total toss up; the son has studied outside of N. Korea apparently (the youngest one), so who knows what he'll do.

My guesses are that NK will stay the same or...they'll try to push for the boarders.

SK bases go on high alert if someone in NK farts. So I imagine everyone is giving birth to kitten at this point.

IN all seriousness, the little shit is going to be a terror... Shit is gonna hit the fan if I were to venture a guess.

Ah, memories. Hopefully North Korea will be able to build up its economy now instead of being a home for nepotism and despotism. If they can build up their economy to a level close to that of South Korea, they can think about making with the unification. The people of the Korean peninsula have been technically at war since the end of attrition in 1953, it's time to heal and come together.

Under fear and tyranny. That's how little boy Kim is going to play it.
